Objective/Activities of the Institution
- The problems related to agriculture of all the farmers falling under the scope of work of the organization should be resolved by the organization and agricultural scientists of the organization.
- To help farmers through all government and social institutions under the scope of the organization.
- All those living in the area of the institute who want to run their own business. Giving them proper advice and information as well as setting up employment industries.
- To provide technical information to the farmers under the locality and to encourage them for agriculture by giving them technical information through scientific methods.
- To make the farmers work by adopting the latest methods of agriculture in the field of work of the institute and to solve their problems in detail from time to time through the institute.
- Through the institute, to provide important information to the farmers for growing agricultural crops as well as cash crops, medicinal crops, and poison-free crops, as well as training in the production of fruits, flowers, vegetables, hydroponics (aquaculture), aeroponics, nursery, spices by making available seeds of these crops and also making markets available for sale. To create awareness about Agro-forestry, Drumstick, Jatropha, Plum, Aonla, Teak, Bamboo, Dragon fruit, Vine, Poplar, Cereal crops, Baby corn, and other crops, etc.
- Providing manure and fertilizers to the farmers under the scope of work of the institute and providing insecticides/pesticides, medicines, fertilizers, and equipment from time to time. Providing training in making and using fertilizers and its production like vermicompost, Azolla, Trichoderma, green manure, bio-fertilizer, nano urea, etc., and setting up production units and selling them commercially.
- To provide information about crops as well as the latest technology of animal husbandry/veterinary and dairy business.
- To encourage farmers to cultivate mushrooms so that farmers can earn maximum profit.
- Under the scope of the institute, production of food grains/seeds of progressive species of all crops on farmers' land and making the seeds/produce available after producing them.
- Establishing a nursery for fruit, flower, and woody plants and selling them through the institute. Establishing gardens and commercially producing and selling flowering plants and flowers.
- Establishing small and cottage industries for farmers/women and youth in rural areas, such as candle making, incense stick making, chalk making, pickles, jam, chutney, flour, porridge, rava, maida, semolina, gram flour, pulses, rice, oil, jaggery and Khandsari, dairy business, silk production, construction of greenhouses and farming, food processing, ration for humans, poultry producing and selling ration, pig ration, fish feed, honey product processing, honey and beekeeping, apple farming, animal ration, etc. Poultry rearing (layer/broiler/chicks), goat rearing, fish farming, etc., centers will be established on a commercial level. Getting it done and selling it.
- Making arrangements to open agricultural settlement/consultancy centers for consultation of farmers and providing custom hiring services.
- Provision of livestock health services and establishment of veterinary centers and services which also includes providing frozen semen banks and liquid nitrogen.
- Establishing/making available information technology rooms for various agricultural-related information.
- To make arrangements for rural marketing of agricultural materials and products as per rules.
- Establishing laboratories for quality testing of soil, water, fertilizers, seeds, food products, etc., and providing services to the farmers.
- The institute should make arrangements for tap boring, deep boring, and dam bandi for the farmers, build check dams, install tube wells, etc.
- To provide technical information about barren land reclamation/barren land improvement through the institute.
- Getting Agro Service Centers established by the institute.
- Printing and publishing of papers, journals, books, manuals, folders, leaflets, posters, charts, short notes, movies, short films, visuals articles, etc.
- To disseminate the latest agricultural techniques, plans, schemes, etc., through information technology through radio, TV, newspapers, etc.

- To organize training, teaching, conferences, seminars, symposia, talks, debates, goshthi, group discussions, farmer fairs, field days, trials, lectures at national/international levels.
- Coordination with National/International Institutions, Central and State Government Institutions, and other departments like NITI Aayog, NABARD, Agricultural Universities, Panchayati Raj, ICAR Institutes, and more.
- Monitoring and evaluation of various institutions.
- Establishing a library.
- Providing fellowship, scholarships, stipends, and awards to students/farmers/scientists and teachers.
- Conducting health-related training programs for humans and animals.
